Loss, Gain and Intrigue
September 17th 2008
Greetings my Dear Readers,
The two weeks since my last post have had their share of highs and lows.
Since my last post I have bid farewell and buried a dear friend who was taken from this world way too soon. He leaves behind a wife, two young sons and countless friends. At only 38 years old, he was a true man of honour and integrity. It was an honour and a privilege to have known him. Rest well my friend.
After several weeks of craming and certification exams I have been handed a new fancy title, although this title comes with longer work hours, more responsibilities, and of course much more stress, the increased perks are minimal but alas, such are the joys when your a working class slave living under the boot of the man
I have a major project on my plate at the moment that is consuming much of my time and mental/emotional energy that should see fruition in a matter of days. Although I can't say much about this project until it is officially rolled out to the world late next month. I can tell you that this one is going to test my own cerebral fitness. Although I usually jump into any project with enthusiasm, I have to admit, this one scares me. It is for that reason alone that this project must be completed. On multiple occasions I have leaped from airplanes, I've bungie jumped, I've been robbed several times at both gun point and knife point, and I still face drug crazed maniacs on an almost daily basis. I'm sure we can all agree, that these are all very dangerous things yet, this project, which I'm sure is no where near as dangerous, truly scares me. I look forward to being able to post the detailed results late next month.
Other then that, not much happening in the world of this Cold Hearted Bastard.
Until next time,
D.
