Dumbing Down of Reality
I've been without Internet for days, so I now post my April 12th post while I have a few moments of service:

Well my Dear Readers,
I sit here tonight with absolutely zero internet, tanks to the connection gremlin problem that has plagued me for almost two full months now, despite my adding expensive new hardware and being reassured by techs almost on a weekly basis that all is well. Considering the long hours I work I am never around so the techs can only base their assurances on what their equipment tells them. It has finally reached the point where I will have little choice but to take time off from my six day work week to let them come in and tear up the only line I cannot gain access to. If after I finally clear my schedule for a technician and they cannot fix the problem then I'll be canceling my service and talking to their primary competition.
Next time your out wandering around your particular town or city, or next time your at work, look around and pay attention to the people around you. In todays world everyone is so dumbed down by the mass media and our brainless entertainment, that people these days are just plain stupid. Common sense is gone and people just don't seem capable of even the simplest forms of thought.
It's gett'n scary folks, and I don't know is this dumbing down of society is simply an accidental result of people getting hooked on Mindless Tubed entertainment such as reality trash like "American Idol" or whether we're being dumbed down by design. I tend to lean towards this as the result of us being systematically and deliberately numbed and dumbed down by the Mass Media in order to ensure we remain the sheep that the leaders of today require us to be, so they can continue to profit and line their own pockets off their corrupt and evils ways while John and Jane Q. Public go about their daily business oblivious to the higher crimes around them and always willingly reaching for their wallets to continuously fund and fuel the political crime machines we call the governments of the world.
If you think I'm nuts, simple take a moment and look around, take a close look at the people that you share air with daily, then tell me I'm wrong.
Protect yourself. Turn off the T.V. Go out and see the world around you. Or read a book. Use your computer to do some research, enlighten your mind. Break free from the chains that bind you, from the influences that cloud your mind, see the world of wonders that are abound around you, see the truth, see reality and you'll see everything they don't want you too.
